Two separate incidents of Ola electric scooters catching fire have been reported in Tamil Nadu. The first incident occurred on the Tirukambuliyur flyover in Karur district, where a scooter burst into flames while traveling on the road.
According to Dinesh, a resident of Vellianai, the fire started shortly after smoke began to emanate from the area where the scooter’s battery was located. Source: Polimer News
The second incident took place on the Madurai Thanakankulam National Highway, involving another Ola electric two-wheeler that caught fire while in motion.
While the exact causes of the fires are still under investigation, they serve as a reminder of the importance of ensuring the safety of electric vehicles and their components.
