Ola S2 & S3 Series: 5 New Electric Scooters Coming Soon

Share

At its annual “Sankalp 2024” event, Ola Electric made several significant announcements that have caught the attention of the EV market.

The event was highlighted by the unveiling of three new electric motorcycles, along with enhancements in technology that are expected to drive Ola’s growth.

One of the most exciting revelations from the presentation was Ola’s ambitious plan for its electric scooter lineup. The company outlined its intention to expand beyond the S1 series by introducing two new sub-brands: S2 and S3. This strategic move positions Ola to launch a total of 5 new electric scooters in the future.

Expansion of Electric Scooter Range

Ola Electric is set to expand its electric scooter range by launching the S2 and S3 sub-brands. and the company is bringing 5 new electric scooters under its subbrand.  These new sub-brands will cater to different segments within the electric scooter market.

The S2 lineup will introduce three new models, categorized as City, Tourer, and Sports scooters

, designed to offer a range of options for urban commuters and long-distance riders alike.

On the other hand, the S3 sub-brand will focus on more premium offerings with two maxi-scooters, dubbed the Grand Adventure and Grand Tourer, which are expected to provide luxury and performance in a single package.

Ola’s All-New Platform and Enhanced Performance

The new S2 and S3 scooters will be built on Ola’s GEN 3 platform, which promises to deliver better performance and an improved range.

This new platform is expected to address and resolve some of the shortcomings observed in the initial S1 lineup.

By utilizing advanced technology, Ola aims to enhance the riding experience and offer a more reliable and efficient product.

Ola Electric Future Prospects and Market Strategy

As Ola Electric works towards launching its new electric motorcycles, the S2 and S3 scooters are still in the early stages of development. This suggests that these new offerings may not be available in the market anytime soon.

However, the expansion of the scooter portfolio is a strategic move by Ola to strengthen its position in the EV market. By diversifying its product range and targeting different segments, Ola aims to attract a broader customer base.

This approach is particularly important as the brand continues to grow and establish itself as a leader in the electric vehicle space.
