Ola Roadster X Deliveries Start This Month

Ola Electric is set to commence deliveries of its much-anticipated Roadster X series this month, signaling a significant milestone in India’s electric vehicle (EV) journey.

In a recent update shared on Ola Electric’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the company announced the rollout of the first Roadster X from its FutureFactory.

The tweet read: “This moment will go down in EV history. The first Roadster X has rolled out of Ola’s FutureFactory. Same mission, new machine. A new era for India’s EV revolution. The road ahead just got electrified.”

The Roadster X lineup, unveiled earlier this year, comprises the standard Roadster X and the premium Roadster X+ variants, both designed to cater to a diverse range of riders seeking sustainable mobility solutions.

The Roadster X series offers multiple configurations to suit different riding preferences and requirements.

The standard Roadster X is available with three battery options: 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh, delivering ranges of 117 km, 159 km, and 200 km, respectively.

These variants are powered by a 7kW motor, enabling top speeds up to 124 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 40 km/h in as little as 2.8 seconds.

Feature-Rich and Rider-Centric

Both models are designed with rider convenience and safety in mind. Standard features include a 4.3-inch LCD powered by MoveOS 5, single-channel ABS, brake-by-wire technology, and three riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport.

The Roadster X+ further enhances the riding experience with additional features like cruise control, regenerative braking, and a reverse mode.

Pricing and Availability

Ola Electric has positioned the Roadster X series competitively, with introductory ex-showroom prices starting at ₹74,999 for the base 2.5 kWh variant.

The top-tier Roadster X+ with the 9.1 kWh battery is priced at ₹1,54,999. These prices are inclusive of government subsidies and are valid for a limited period.
