Ola Electric, India’s largest pure-play EV company, has announced the launch of its Gig and S1 Z range of scooters, designed to unlock the full potential of electric mobility for the masses.
The new range of scooters comprises Ola Gig, Ola Gig+, Ola S1 Z, and Ola S1 Z+ available at an introductory pricing of ₹39,999 (ex-showroom), ₹49,999 (ex-showroom), ₹59,999 (ex-showroom), and ₹64,999 (ex-showroom), respectively.
The reservations for both the Gig and S1 Z series are open at just ₹499 starting today. The new range of scooters offers durable, reliable, affordable, and flexible solutions, including removable batteries, fulfilling personal and commercial use cases of rural, semi-urban, and urban customers.
With the new range of products, coupled with the existing portfolio, Ola Electric aims to further revolutionize access to EVs with a wide range of affordable offerings across categories, catering to a broad spectrum of customers, thereby democratizing electric mobility for all.
Deliveries of the Ola Gig and Ola S1 Z series will begin starting April 2025, and May 2025, respectively
The scooter offers an impressive IDC-certified range of 112 km and a top speed of 25 kmph. It comes with a removable 1.5 kWh battery, a hub motor, 12” tyres for superior braking. With an introductory price of ₹39,999, the Ola Gig will be available for B2B purchases and rentals.

S1 Z is a personal-use electric scooter aimed at urban commuters who value style, performance, and convenience. It offers an agile, easy-to-handle experience, ideal for smooth maneuvering on busy urban and semi-urban roads.
The scooter sports removable dual batteries of 1.5 kWh each with an IDC-certified range of 75 km (146 km X 2) and comes with a top speed of 70 kmph, an LCD display, and a physical key.
Powered by a 2.9 kW hub motor, it can clock 0-20 kmph in 1.8 seconds and 0-40 km in 4.8 seconds. With the S1 Z, Ola Electric aims to offer an unparalleled alternative value proposition to entry-level ICE models keeping young professionals, students, women, and elderly riders in mind. The Ola S1 Z is priced at ₹59,999 (Introductory price).
The scooter is built for ruggedness, durability, and extended range, catering to the needs of small business owners, local shopkeepers, and individuals involved in light to medium commercial activities.

The Ola PowerPod is a versatile and reliable power source. It will allow Ola’s portable battery to double up as an inverter which can power small household appliances, lights, fans, and other essential devices.
The PowerPod has a maximum output of 500W, a 1.5kWh battery that can provide power for 3 hours to run 5 LED bulbs, 3 ceiling fans, 1 TV, 1 Mobile charging, and 1 Wi-Fi router. This dual functionality of the battery offers a valuable proposition for users in semi-urban and rural areas where access to a stable electricity supply may be limited, furthering the goal of accessible, sustainable energy for all. The PowerPod is priced at ₹9,999.
In addition to the Ola Gig and Ola S1 Z Range, Ola Electric currently offers an expansive S1 scooter portfolio with six offerings across attractive price points catering to customers with different range requirements.
While the premium offerings S1 Pro and S1 Air are priced at ₹1,34,999 and ₹1,07,499, respectively, the mass-market offerings include the S1 X portfolio (2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh) priced at ₹74,999, ₹87,999, and ₹101,999, respectively.
The company also announced the launch of its Roadster motorcycle series, comprising Roadster X (2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh), Roadster (3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh, 6 kWh), and Roadster Pro (8 kWh, 16 kWh). The motorcycles offer many segment-first technology and performance features, with their prices starting from INR 74,999, INR 1,04,999, and INR 1,99,999, respectively.
