The Mahindra XEV 9e electric SUV boasts an array of hero features and a variety of impressive safety features.

The Mahindra XEV 9e features powered and ventilated front seats, best-in-class audio system packages, multi-colored ambient lighting, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, etc.

Top 10 Hero Features of Mahindra XEV 9e

Wide Cinemascope:

The Mahindra XEV 9e is equipped with a triple-screen setup powered by its Adrenox software. It consists of three 12.3-inch screens that take up most of the dashboard and create an immersive, wide spectacle.

Vision X:

The Mahindra XEV 9e features a Heads Up Display (HUD) with an augmented navigation system.

Best-In-Class Audio System:

The Mahindra XEV 9e is equipped with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, powered by Mahindra Sonic Studio, which the brand claims as the world’s best in-car audio system.

Illuminated Logo:

The Mahindra XEV 9e features an almost squared steering wheel with an illuminated logo and haptic buttons.

Illuminated Panoramic Roof:

The Mahindra XEV 9e features an enormous sunroof that has ambient lighting pattern on it with 16 million colour options.

Live Your Mood: Different modes

The Mahindra XEV 9e shall get three ambient mood-setting options in the cabin: Calm, Cozy, and Club. The mood settings are pre-set with signature sonic tunes curated by AR Rahman.

Every minute detail like the ambiance, lighting, climate, etc of the cabin shall be adjusted according to the mood selected.

Multi-Drive Modes:

The Mahindra XEV 9e shall feature three driving modes: Race, Range and Everyday.

ADAS Level 2+:

The Mahindra XEV 9e will feature Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with Driver Initiated Lane Change Assist. It would be equipped with 1 vision camera and 5 radars with the ability to detect animals, pedestrians, barricades and different types of vehicles.

EyeDentity:

The Mahindra XEV 9e would be equipped with a Driver and Occupant Monitoring System (DOMS) to keep track of driver fatigue. This function also can be used as a selfie camera for clicking pictures and for video calls.

Secure360: The Mahindra XEV 9e will be able to detect and record it’s surroundings with a 360-degree camera outside and with an in-cabin camera. The live view as well as the recorded footage can be accessed via the Mahindra mobile app.

Autopark:

The Mahindra XEV 9e features a one-touch Auto Park function which can be operated remotely using the car key. It is equipped with 12 ultrasonic sensors enabling perpendicular, angular as well as parallel parking along with reverse assist and remote control options.

Intelligent Brake System:

The Mahindra XEV 9e also features an “Intelligent Brake System” with an integrated electronic booster for the brake-by-wire tech. The company claims that this technology will enable the electric vehicle to come to a halt from 100 kmph in just 40 metres.

Safety:

The safety kit in the Mahindra XEV 9e consists of multiple airbags varying upon the Pack (variant) which can have up to 7 airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP,) and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

It also is equipped with advanced driver assist system tech such as lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning as well as adaptive cruise control.

The company also claims that the INGLO platform used in the XEV 9e has been built keeping a 5-star Global NCAP crash rating in mind. However, the Mahindra XEV 9e’s crash test results are yet to be revealed.
