Electric SUV launched, 1000 Km Range & Can Float on Water
A well-known Chinese automaker, BYD, recently launched the brand-new BYD YangWang U8 EREV SUV to the Chinese market.
It has a more rugged-looking front bumper that extends towards the bottom of the car to defend against collision in the wild. Additionally, it has a snorkel and a removable roof rack with a side ladder.
The YangWang U8 EREV SUV’s wading mode uses the vehicle’s sensors to keep an eye on the surrounding area, the level of the water, the status of the wheels, and other factors.
Floating Mode
The Nvidia Drive Orin SoC technology, which has a computational power of 508 TOPS, is integrated into the YangWang U8 EREV SUV.
Technology
It receives input from 38 sensors, including 13 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, 3 lidars, and 5-millimetre wave radars.

Priced at 1,089,000 yuan ($150,000), the BYD YangWang U8 EREV SUV Premium version is available.
