Pepsi Co confirmed on Friday, October 7th that it will be taking the first delivery of Tesla’s all-electric semi truck on December 1st. The Tesla semi-truck in the past has come across several obstacles ever since it was unveiled 5 years ago. The time has long come for the Tesla semi-truck, it was first introduced to the world in 2017.

Now it is all prepared to make a debut in the EV market. Keeping Pepsi aside there are many prospects looking forward to getting their hands on the all-new, all-electric Tesla semi-truck. Some of them are; Walmart, DHL, FedEx, United Parcel Service, and Anheuser-Busch says a Digital Trends report.
The original price of this 500-mile range version is said to be $180,000, Tesla also plans to introduce a mini with a price range of $150,000.
Tesla’s Electric Semi-truck Production:
The truth can ride at a speed of 0-60 miles in the span of 20 seconds when filled to its gross weight which is 80,000 pounds. To acquire low per-mile costs Tesla has powered this truck with four independent motors which give maximum power and acceleration.
In terms of safety, Tesla said, “Semi comes standard with active safety features that pair with advanced motor and brake controls to deliver traction and stability in all conditions. A central seating position gives the driver better visibility, while an all-electric architecture reduces both rollover risk and cabin intrusion in case of an accident.”
The production is happening near the Gigafactory in Nevada, Texas. The trucks were first seen on roads in 2019.
The trucks will be utilized in PepsiCo‘s Frito-Lay plant in Modesto, California, and its PepsiCo beverages factory in Sacramento, according to a statement from the company. PepsiCo reserved 100 of the vehicles for 2017 as part of its ongoing effort to lower fuel costs and pollution.
