Moscow will soon announce the opening of the third high-tech electric bus depot in the Novokosino district in the east of Moscow. It will help to launch electric bus routes in this area of Moscow for the first time. Residents of the Eastern and South-eastern districts of the city will be transported by the most modern, comfortable, and eco-friendly surface public transport.

Due to the new depot electric bus routes will be launched in the east and southeast of Moscow

    Area of Depot

The area of the new electric bus depot will be nearly 3 hectares, 78 electric buses are to operate there. The territory will be equipped with 13 ultra-fast charging stations as well as 78 charging posts for eco-friendly surface public transport.

The opening of the new electric bus depot will help to launch electric buses along the routes of Eastern and South-eastern Moscow districts. Eco-friendly transport will replace diesel buses as well as reduce the impact on the environment.

    Words by the Deputy Mayor
