Yulu and Zomato Partnership
Yulu, the eco-friendly e-scooter rental firm, has teamed up with Zomato, the food delivery giant, to introduce Yulu DeX electric vehicles for last-mile deliveries. This partnership aims to make deliveries more sustainable by using green mobility solutions.
Yulu DeX for Deliveries
Yulu plans to provide 25,000 to 35,000 Yulu DeX electric vehicles to Zomato’s delivery partners on customized rental plans as part of this initiative. These electric vehicles are not only cost-effective but also eco-friendly, as they emit less carbon and contribute towards building a sustainable future.
Yulu’s DeX Delivery Target by 2026
According to Yulu, these 25,000+ Yulu DeX electric vehicles can potentially serve 300,000 green deliveries every day by 2026. This is a significant step towards making last-mile delivery more efficient and eco-friendly, and towards building a sustainable future for urban mobility.
Yulu’s Other Partnership
In February 2023, Yulu and Bajaj Auto launched a new E2W scooter called Miracle GR and DeX GR.
Words by the Top Management
Mr. Mohit Sardana said that “As part of The Climate Group’s EV100 initiative, we have committed to transitioning our delivery fleet to 100% electric, and with Yulu’s support, we are glad to be on the right path to achieve this target. We are excited to continue our efforts to create a greener Zomato and a better world for all.”
Head, Revenue, and operations of Yulu said, “With Yulu’s deep understanding of the delivery ecosystem, purpose-built product DeX, robust operations, and a wide network of battery swapping stations, our solutions can improve earnings of delivery partners by up to 40%.”
Writer’s Remark
