Samsung plans to offer these high-cost batteries in the super-premium EV segment and will also release high-nickel NCS products for the high-end market, boasting an energy density of 500Wh/kg, compared to the current average of 270Wh/kg.
Samsung is also developing more affordable battery options, like lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and cobalt-free batteries, demonstrating its commitment to advancing EV technology across various market segments.
