Maruti Suzuki confirmed that the eVX will be announced at the Bharat Mobility Expo, with a launch set for early 2025. While India is key, Europe will have launch priority. India will be the mother plant and export hub for the eVX.
Maruti Suzuki's first electric car, the eVX, is expected to use BYD's high-performance Blade battery, with plans to potentially localize production in the market.
Maruti Suzuki eVX is expected to launch with a price range of Rs.18 lakh to 25 lakh. Once launched in India, the Maruti Suzuki eVX will compete against several established players in the electric SUV segment.
