It has recently commenced in Delhi, Jaipur, and Bengaluru for a token amount of Rs. 2499 which is also refundable. This has been a very well marketing scheme attracting several customers.

It is scheduled to start its deliveries by the second week of December and will be distributed in different markets in a very phases form.

The Vida powered by Hero MotoCorp said in their event that “we shall be creating history by creating the future”.

“Our aim is to build the EV category and grow its scale. To make this happen, we have not just launched a product. We have launched three things – the Vida V1, Vida Platform, and Vida Services. Collectively, we have launched a ‘worry-free EV ecosystem’ which is absolutely the need of the hour,” said Swadesh Srivastava, Head – The emerging Mobility Business Unit, at Hero MotoCorp.

“This ecosystem has been built on top of a technology stack that we have created from scratch, bringing the strength of AI-driven personalization and context-aware resolution. The Vida V1 is not just a smart and flexible scooter, it is also ‘built-to-last’. All of this is obviously on top of the industry-leading performance and features,” he further explained.

To begin with this electric scooter’s description, it comes with an elite key, the key for a change does not provide a lock and an unlock option but it renders with three buttons; a button to search the vehicle, unlock the boot, and switch a light on. There is a key given inside which allows customers to access the swappable batteries found in the boot which should be 3.9kwh.

There are LED lights with high beams and indicators placed around the handles. All the panels of this electric scooter are plastic. There is a twin-shock suspension coming along with the MRF 90/20-12 tires and an alloy wheel.

Introduction of a Bybre brake, a side stand, and the main stand. When it comes to the motor it is a hub-mounted motor; V1 pro and plus, both variants will have 8BHP peak power and 5.2BHP continuous power.

The Vida V1 comes with a maximum speed of 80kmph, the V1 pro has a range of 165 km and has a battery capacity of 3.9kwh, and has been priced at a rate of Rs, 1,56,000. The Vida V1 plus has a range of 143 km and a battery capacity of 3.5kwh and has been priced at a rate of 1,46,000.

There are four riding modes, Sport, Ride, Eco, and Custom. The electric scooter has features including a custom mode with over 100 permutations, cruise control, boost mode, two-way throttle, keyless entry, and a 7-inch TFT display with a neat layout that supports literally everything through an application.

VIDA is also developing a charging infra that will support two DC and one AC charge which will provide fast charging compared to the existing charging system.
