Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has unveiled the new Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Toyota’s first self-charging strong hybrid electric SUV and the first of its kind in the B SUV segment in India.

Based on an advanced body structure, the Urban Cruiser hider is designed for the green future, delivering a unique combination of exemplary dynamic performance, best-in-class running economy, quick acceleration, low emissions, and a smooth drive.

Powered by an Electric drive transmission with 2WD and being a self-charging strong hybrid electric vehicle, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder is capable of driving 40% of the distance and 60% of the time in electric (EV) or zero-emission mode. The new model is also available with a 1.5-liter K-series engine with Neo Drive (ISG), 5-speed manual transmission, and 6-speed automatic transmission with 2WD and 4WD options.

Toyota Urban cruiser hybrid price in India?

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Hybrid EV price in India is expected to be Rs.15 to 16 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Specifications:

This comes with a self-charging strong hybrid electric grade that comes with a 1.5-liter engine with THS (Toyota Hybrid System) and electric drive transmission making 68kW of engine output and 122Nm of torque and 59kW of motor output and 141Nm of torque. The combined power output of the engine and motor is 85Kw.
