Ola Electric recently entered the electric bike market with the launch of its Ola Roadster Series, which has received significant praise for its promising performance. The company is set to expand its lineup with more bikes, including the highly anticipated Ola Adventure.

Although the full specifications and pricing details are yet to be revealed, they are expected to reflect Ola’s gigafactory production capabilities, potentially offering impressive features and value.

The Adventure model, showcased last year features a tall seat, dual-purpose tires, spoked wheels, hand guards, ample ground clearance, and a rugged appearance, is designed for long trips and adventurous terrains.

Expected to offer a range of over 250 km per charge, the Ola Adventure will incorporate fast-charging technology, potentially featuring multiple riding modes and cruise control.

The anticipated starting price for this electric bike is approximately Rs 2.5 to 3 lakh

2] Ola Cruiser

3] Triumph TE- 1

Triumph proudly announced last year the successful completion of its TE-1 electric development project. The company unveiled the final prototype test results that not only meet but surpass project objectives.

The collaboration has yielded remarkable achievements, notably exceeding the real-world range of current electric motorcycles with an impressive 161 km/100-mile range based on live testing and official projections. The TE-1 prototype showcases exceptional acceleration, achieving 0-60 mph in a mere 3.6 seconds and a remarkable 0-100 mph in 6.2 seconds.

Another groundbreaking feature is its 20-minute charge time (0-80%). Having undergone four extensive and rigorous phases, Triumph confidently states that the TE-1 has completed its fourth phase, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of electric vehicle technology.

4] Okinawa Oki100

Labeled as the “Silent Beast,” the Oki100 marks Okinawa’s debut into the electric motorcycle realm. Positioned as a compact and minimalist commuter bike, it caters to environmentally conscious bike enthusiasts. Priced around Rs. 1 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi, the Oki100 positions itself as an affordable green option.

Positioned as a high-end e-motorcycle, the Oki100 boasts features like anti-theft alarm, keyless ignition, central locking, GPS, geo-fencing, built-in navigation, and a side stand sensor.

Anticipated with a 3,000-watt BLDC motor, the Oki100 will be powered by a 72V, 4 kWh lithium-ion battery. Okinawa hints that this motor and battery combination will be competitive with 125cc or 150cc petrol motorcycles. With a top speed of 120 kmph, and can go to 150 km on a single charge.

Oki100 positions itself as a promising contender in the electric motorcycle landscape, offering both sustainability and performance for riders seeking a green alternative.

5] Kabira Mobility KM500

  • Expected Price: Rs 3.15 lakh 
  • Expected Launch Date: October 2024
  • Expected Range: 344 km/charge
  • Top Speed– 188 kmph

Kabira Mobility, a Goa-based electric two-wheeler startup founded in 2017, is set to make waves with its upcoming model, the KM5000. Known for their innovations, Kabira’s previous bikes, the KM3000 and KM4000, have already earned praise for their speed, range, and advanced technology.

The upcoming KM5000 is expected to be India’s fastest electric bike, with a top speed of 188 km/h, and will likely offer the longest range of any electric bike in India, with an impressive 344 km on a single charge.

The KM5000 will feature a cruiser design with a mid-drive powertrain and a single-sided swingarm, co-developed with DeltaEV, a leader in power technology. Delta’s high-performance chargers, which offer 94% efficiency and adhere to global safety standards, are set to enhance the bike’s charging capabilities.

The KM5000 will also feature an 11.6 kWh water-cooled battery pack, and Kabira Mobility plans to offer two charging options: a fast charger that can deliver 80% charge in under two hours and a standard charger for overnight charging.

Rider safety will be supported by a dual-channel ABS braking system, twin front discs, and a rear single disc.

Additionally, the bike is expected to come with a 7-inch touchscreen dashboard with 4G connectivity, offering turn-by-turn navigation, music control, vehicle info, real-time battery health monitoring, and smart diagnostics.

The KM5000 will be available in three colors: Midnight Grey, Deep Khaki, and Aquamarine.
