The EaS-E is a fully electric, 2-seater smart microcar developed by Indian startup PMV Electric, aimed at promoting sustainable mobility. Designed as an everyday vehicle, it’s perfect for commuting, grocery runs, and school drops.

6- Tata Xpres-T EV

The Tata Xpres-T EV is the fifth electric car on our list. The Tata Xpress – T EV is priced at Rs ₹9.54 Lakh.

7- Renault Kwid EV

Renault India is preparing to launch the all-electric version of the Renault Kwid EV, which was recently spotted testing on Indian roads. Expected to be priced around Rs 7 lakh, the test model featured the Dacia logo on the grille and steering wheel.
Inside, the Kwid EV test mule showcased a large floating touchscreen.
The international-spec Spring EV, on which the Kwid EV is based, comes with a 26.8 kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP-claimed range of up to 220 km.
The India-spec Kwid EV is likely to offer similar features, such as a 7-inch digital driver’s display, power windows, automatic AC, and wireless phone charging. Safety features could include multiple airbags, a rearview camera, and electronic stability control (ESC).

 

The international version of the Spring EV also includes level 1 ADAS features and Vehicle-2-Load (V2L) functionality, enabling the car to power external appliances.

The EV is available with two motor options, delivering up to 65 PS of power. It can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 45 minutes using a DC fast charger. The Renault Kwid EV is expected to debut in India around 2025-2026, potentially competing with other entry-level EVs in the market.

8- Mahindra eKUV100

Mahindra is expected to soon launch the eKUV100, with an estimated price range of ₹8.25 – 10 Lakhs. The anticipated launch date is set for 31 March 2025. 

The Mahindra eKUV100, showcased at the 2020 Auto Show, comes with a 15.9 kWh battery pack and a 54.4 PS electric motor. As an SUV, it offers good ground clearance, making it suitable for off-roading.
The design features a closed-off grille with blue arrow-shaped inserts, charging ports on each front fender, and headlights and taillights with blue accents. Mahindra has also added connectivity features like remote diagnostics, cabin pre-cooling, and real-time location monitoring. Standard features include power windows, power steering, a touchscreen infotainment system, and dual airbags.

 

The eKUV100 is powered by a 54.4hp, 120 Nm electric motor, offering a range of 147 km. It can be fast charged to 80% in 55 minutes, with a full charge on a standard charger taking about 5 hr 45 min. Its 170 mm ground clearance helps it handle rough roads effectively.

9- Maruti Suzuki WagonR EV

The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R EV is expected to launch in India by 2025- 2026, with an estimated starting price of Rs 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It may offer multiple battery pack options, providing a driving range of over 300 km.

Key features could include regenerative braking, a seven-inch touchscreen display, automatic climate controls, and powered ORVMs.

For safety, the Wagon R EV might be equipped with hill-hold assist, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, and multiple airbags. It is expected to compete with the Tata Tiago EV and Citroen eC3 in the electric vehicle market.

10- BYD Seagull

The BYD Seagull is set to launch in India in 2025 with an estimated starting price of ₹10 lakhs, offering an affordable entry into the EV market for budget-conscious buyers.
This compact electric hatchback will likely come with two battery pack options—30 kWh and 38 kWh—paired with electric motors generating 72 PS and 100 PS, respectively. The smaller battery pack may provide a range of up to 305 km, while the larger one could offer up to 405 km.
Despite its compact size, the Seagull will feature advanced technology, including a large touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital driver’s display, and wireless phone charging, making it an appealing choice for city driving.
