Tata Motors is launching its new Nexon EV 2022 upgraded model, here are the new Nexon EV 2022 price, range, and launch date details.
Indian originated company “TATA Motors”, As of 2022 has significantly improved. At some point, Tata solely used to launch cars like ‘Indica’, the company is launching various cars in all its segments.
In its SUV variants, Tata has already established its footprint by launching cars like Tata Nexon, Safari, Harrier, and Altroz. Presently, the company is on the threshold of 2022 and is all set to launch the upgraded versions of the Tata Nexon EV.
The year 2022 is expected to be the era of electric vehicles. Where different companies are all set to launch their different versions of electric vehicles, Tata is ready to compete with them all.
Tata Nexon EV, the best-selling SUV variant of electric vehicles, is expected to be launched in the first half of the calendar year 2022 with new upgraded features. This variant is known as the Long Range Variant of the Nexon EV.

Tata’s sole aim of focusing on this variant was to mitigate the only disadvantages of the earlier launched Nexon EV, which were customers who were demanding a long-range SUV.
Highlights
The new Nexon EV would be powered by a 40 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that promises to cover a whopping range of 400 Kilometers. This long-range variant of the Nexon EV is said to have a modified floor to accommodate the larger battery than its former version which was accommodating a 30.2 kWh battery pack.
Though the bigger battery ensures an increase in range, the byproduct is the 100 kilograms of extra weight penalty which would affect the cargo volume. The long-range model comes with selectable regen modes, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP), which the current model lacks. Here are some of the major upgrades that the 2022 Nexon EV offers :

Of course, this brand-new upgraded model of Nexon EV looks promising as per the newly incorporated features. Coming to its price, it is expected to be 3 lakhs more than the former variant which is currently priced at Rs 14.24 and Rs 16.85 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The former model may also get the same cosmetic changes. Tata is aiming to sell 10 electric cars through its newly formed subsidiary Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited.
