Tata Motors, India’s leading automobile manufacturer, just announced some exciting changes to its Nexon EV portfolio! To celebrate three years of the Nexon EV launch in India, the company has repositioned its pricing and enhanced the range of its EV vehicles. Today we’ll be talking about all the variants of Nexon EV. So get ready to experience the revamp of the Tata Motors Nexon EV portfolio.

Tata Nexon EV Highlights

  1. The Nexon EV Range has now priced at Rs. 14.49 lakh, which is a significant reduction.
  2. Nexon EV MAX range, the Nexon EV MAX XM, has been introduced with a starting price of Rs. 16.49 Lakh with new feature-packed variants.
  3. From February 15, 2023, users of Nexon EV MAX will be able to benefit from the 453 km range enhancement through software updates

Changes in Tata Nexon EV Portfolio: EV Max and EV Prime

Tata Nexon EV Max: XM and XZ+ Lux

Starting off with the Nexon EV MAX range, the company has repositioned the starting price at INR 16.49 lakh and has added a new, feature-packed variant called the Nexon EV MAX XM. This variant comes equipped with some impressive features such as an Electronic Parking Brake, Automatic Climate Control, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with i-VBAC, Projector Headlamps with LED DRLs and LED tail lamps, Push Button Start, Digital TFT Instrument Cluster, ZConnect Connected Car technology with Smartwatch Connectivity, and Rear Disc Brakes.

But that’s not all, the company has also enhanced the certified range of the Nexon EV MAX to 453 km (MIDC) from January 25, 2023, onwards. And current Nexon EV MAX owners will be able to avail of this enhancement through a software upgrade at dealerships starting February 15, 2023.

The top-end trim, the Nexon EV MAX XZ+ Lux, has also been repriced at INR 18.49 lakh. This variant comes with additional features such as Leatherette Seats with Ventilation, Wireless Smartphone Charger, Auto-Dimming IRVM, Cabin Air Purifier, Electric Sunroof, 17.78 cm Floating Infotainment system by HARMAN with 8 speakers, 16-inch Alloy wheels, Hill Descent Control, Sharkfin Antenna, and more.

Tata Nexon EV Prime: XM variant 

Finally, the Nexon EV Prime XM variant has also been repositioned at INR 14.49 lakh. This variant comes with features such as Projector Headlamps and LED DRLs, Push Button Start, Digital TFT Instrument Cluster, Cruise Control, ZConnect Connected Car technology with Smartwatch Connectivity, Harman Infotainment System, Automatic Climate Control, and more.

The head of marketing, sales, and service strategy commented on the Nexon EV portfolio saying, “India’s #1 EV, Nexon EV has completed its third successful year. With this, we are confident that more and more customers will make the switch to e-mobility.”

Bookings for the entire Nexon EV Line-up are open immediately and deliveries of the new Nexon EV MAX XM variant will commence from April 2023 onwards.
