Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited has introduced its new line in the electric market. The Max Range with better performance, more added features, and a best-in-class warranty makes Ape E-city FX Max and Ape E-Xtra FX Max stand out from the competition.

The new range provides a groundbreaking driving experience with zero emissions, making it a modern last-mile transportation option for urban India. With its innovative batteries, automatic gearbox, superior power and torque, lack of gear or clutch, doors for safety, and full digital dashboard, it offers a unique and sustainable proposal with a variety of class-leading features. India’s mobility is about to undergo a complete change thanks to a variety of fixed-battery electric three-wheelers that are powered by cutting-edge lithium-ion smart batteries.

Piaggio recently unveiled two new electric three-wheelers: the Ape E-City FX Max for passengers and the Ape E-Xtra FX Max for cargo. With prices of Rs. 3.46 lakh and Rs. 3.43 lakh respectively, the Ape E-Xtra FX Max is offered in two variants: PU Max and WP Max. The Ape E-City FX Max has priced at Rs 3.26 lakh.

The latest models, Ape E-City FX Max and Ape E-Xtra FX Max, have a range of 145 and 115 kilometers on a single charge respectively. For better ground clearance, these vehicles have tyres with a 12-inch diameter. At Piaggio’s Baramati facility, an all-female staff is responsible for assembling the entire EV line. The Ape E-City FX Max will soon have a swappable battery option in addition to the fixed battery arrangement found in the new model. The vehicles seat height has also been modified for better sight and control when driving. This improves navigation for drivers and enables the most effective tracking and management for owners.

At the Italian Embassy in Delhi, the formal launch of the Max Range was held. The electric three-wheelers were unveiled by Mr. Vincenzo de Luca, the Italian ambassador to India in the presence of Mr. Diego Graffi, Chairman & MD, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd, Mr. Sudhanshu Agrawal, EVP and Business Head, Electric Vehicles and Exports, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd, as well as invited dignitaries from the Government of India.

Along with the introduction of the new range, Piaggio also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with important business partners to ensure continuing advancements in the field as well as that progress is still being made in India’s development of a strong EV infrastructure.
