Despite having the Ola Care plan, Mannu’s scooter has remained unattended for over 30 days now due to what he described as a minor issue.

As days turned into weeks, Mannu’s Ola scooter gathered dust in his garage with no service contact or false promises from the service centers. He expressed his frustration online, sharing that his scooter had been rendered unusable due to the company’s lack of response.

We just recently saw an incident where a frustrated Ola customer sang ‘Tadap Tadap Ke’ outside the Ola Electric Showroom over service issues. 

Growing Number of Ola Electric’s Service Complaints

Unfortunately, Mannu Bhardwaj’s experience is not only a single experience. Ola Electric has been facing increasing criticism over its after-sales service. Numerous users have taken to Twitter to voice their dissatisfaction, and the examples keep piling up.

1] One user named, Ashish Bobade, shared his experience of multiple visits to the Malad service center, only to find that his scooter remained unrepaired. Ashish highlighted several issues with his vehicle front tire wobble is in bad condition, the rear suspension is too loose, the brake pads needed replacement, right side footboard is broken due to inferior quality plastic. 2] Another user, Swapnil Barker, reported a similar experience, where his vehicle broke down, but he received no timely response from the service center. The lack of communication left him frustrated and without a solution. As you can see in the below tweet made by the user.

3] Further amplifying the service issues, Abdul Rasheed Asri posted a tweet detailing his dissatisfaction with his Ola Electric scooter. Since purchasing the vehicle on April 12, 2024, he has been facing numerous problems.  As you can see in the below tweet made by the user.  

4] The frustration of dealing with unresolved service issues even extends to minor problems. A user named फूफा फूल सिंह tweeted about waiting 13 days for his issue to be resolved. However, despite the scheduled service date, no one visited to address his concerns. He summed up his experience in a tweet: 

5] To make matters worse, users who have invested in Ola Care Plus plans are facing difficulties in getting the service they paid for. Darshan Patil is one such customer who shared his frustrating experience after paying Rs 3500 for the Ola Care Plus plan. Despite registering for service and being promised priority resolution, his ticket was closed without any action being taken. He posted on Twitter: 

Darshan also highlighted the dismal situation at the Ola Thane Service Centre, where numerous scooters could be seen lying around, unattended and unresolved, further illustrating the severity of the after-sales service crisis.

Final Thoughts

Ola Electric‘s issues with after-sales service are becoming increasingly prominent, and the company’s struggles are starting to impact its reputation.

Launching new products isn’t enough to sustain success; quality after-sales service is crucial. Ola Electric must address these concerns urgently, ensuring customer issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner to maintain trust and secure long-term growth.
