Ola Electric Scooter in India
Ola Electric Mobility is an electric two-wheeler manufacturer based in Bangalore, India. Its manufacturing plant is located in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Ola Electric Mobility was established in 2017 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of ANI Technologies, the parent company of Ola Cabs. Ola Electric was bifurcated as a separate company in March 2019.

On May 27, 2020, Ola Electric announced the acquisition of Amsterdam-based EV company Etergo to manufacture its range of electric scooters in India. With a production capacity of 10 million units per annum, OLA Electric Mobility claims to be the largest electric two-wheeler plant in the world. The factory produces two variants, Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro, which come in ten colors and are expected to start shipping to consumers who pre-order by October 2021. Apart from electric vehicles, Ola also works on EV charging systems, EV batteries, and installation. Viable infrastructure to allow commercial EVs to operate on a large scale.
