At the Mahindra EV Fashion Festival, three electric SUVs were showcased, each with its unique design and features. The first electric SUV, the XUV.e9, is expected to be the closest to production. The front of the vehicle boasts a bold and imposing design language, with saber tooth LED DRLs that join in the middle. The side profile features strong plastic cladding, and the wheels also have plastic covers to improve drag efficiency. The vehicle also has traditional blacked-out ORVMs and a gold accent on the glass area.

Mahindra BE.05

The second electric SUV showcased was the BE.05, a futuristic and eye-catching vehicle finished in a matte brown-grey shade. The front of the vehicle features a saber tooth design for the LED DRLs and a hidden LED panel that creates light patterns in the lower part of the front bumper. The digital ORVM units are sleek and only house a camera, and the side profile features plastic cladding around the squared-off wheel arches. The interior of the BE.05 is a masterpiece of minimalism and sophistication, with a cockpit-style driver’s area and a panoramic screen that accommodates both the instrumentation and infotainment.

Mahindra BE Rall-E

The event ended with a surprise unveiling of the BE Rall-E electric SUV, which is kitted out as an off-road-ready vehicle with a pre-runner bash plate, front bumper, and big auxiliary lamps integrated into the tow-hook.

The BE and XUV.e electric SUVs are based on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, which will support battery packs with capacities of 60-80 kWh in both models.
