Lord’s Automative: Indian EV Manufacturer
Incorporated in February 2020, Lord’s Automative Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Lord’s Mark Industries, founded by Dr . Sachidanand Upadhyay, is a market leader in India for the production of best-in-class environmentally friendly electric vehicles.
The company launched its first electric scooter in October 2020 under the name Lord’s Zoom.
Partnership and Collaboration
On the manufacturing front, the company has acquired a 100% stake in Devam Electric Vehicles to manufacture E-rickshaws and E-loaders and has also formed a joint venture with Kerala state-owned Kerala Automobiles Ltd. to expand its electric vehicle business and foray into EV infrastructure. So far, the company has partnered with 240+ dealers in 22 states and sold over 10,000 EVs in India.

Future Endeavors
Lord’s Automative targets installing GPS-enabled battery swapping stations in the next few years. It also intends to introduce e-bikes and electric vintage cars.
