Joy Mihos Electric Scooter
WardWizard the parent company of Joy e-bike launched their new electric scooter named MIHOS at the Auto Expo 2023. This scooter comes with a retro design and has some interesting features, we will discuss all of them in this article.
Price
The Joy e-bike Mihos launched at an ex-showroom price of ₹1.49 lakh. Priced higher than most electric scooters in today’s market this scooter, this scooter won’t give you the feeling that something is missing. Most budget scooters make some sacrifices to fit into an economically friendly price category but the Joy e-bike Mihos offers excellent features for its price.
Features
This scooter is great in terms of both features and style. Featuring 12-inch alloy wheels, the Mihos has disc brakes for both, the front and the rear tire which combined with the telescopic front suspension provides excellent stopping. The Headlight, Tail light, and turn signal light are all LED-based as opposed to the conventional ones. The Joy e-bike Mihos comes with an in-built speaker that can be used to simulate vehicle sound or play music via Bluetooth. Connectivity features include Vehicle Tracking, Geo-Fencing, and Remote Disabling which make this scooter less prone to theft. The ignition on this scooter can be activated by simply using the mobile app which also includes features like navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, etc.
Specifications 
The Joy e-bike Mihos comes with a 74 V, 40 Ah battery which the company promises is capable of going 100 – 110 km on a single charge. Powering a 1500w motor this battery pushes the Mihos to a top speed of 70 km/hr. While similar ranged scooters take about 9 hours to charge fully this scooter can charge itself fully in just around 5.5 hours. The company boasts that it has used a new material named Tubular monocoque to form the chassis of the joy e-bike Mihos, which the company claims is better in terms of durability than the conventional materials. With a curb weight of 110 kilograms, this scooter can go from 0-40 km/hr in 7 seconds.
Conclusion
The Joy e-bike Mihos can be considered as a “No corners cut” electric bike as it provides impeccable features for a reasonable price. This scooter has almost everything that an average rider might need. Although the 110km range on a single charge is quite impressive it can be improved. Premium features like Geo tracking and vehicle simulation sound to make it a great option to be considered while buying an electric scooter.
