Ipower Batteries clears AIS 156 Phase 2 and receives ICAT certification for their NMC and LFP range of chemistries for two-wheeler & three-wheeler applications
Ipower Batteries has announced they have recently cleared the AIS 156 (Amendment III) Phase 2 requirement and received ICAT certification for their NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) and LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) range of chemistries for their batteries used in two-wheeler and three-wheeler EVs.
The batteries with NMC are approx 1.5 kWh to 4 kWh for two-wheelers and LFP offers 2 kWh to 4 kWh for two-wheelers and 5 KW to 10 KW for three-wheelers & Electric Auto. These batteries were not only checked with numerous safety & performance lab tests but also underwent field trials for optimal validation. The new compliant NMC batteries have completed over 40,000 km on road testing validation for two-wheelers and LFP batteries have completed 60,000 km for two-wheelers and 60,000 km for three-wheeler.
