A report by PTI stated an event that was attended by the general manager (Retail Sales) Ajay Ajay Kumar Shrivastav in Aurangabad was setting up of fuel pump with electric charging points and a Khadi outlet under the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ move was mentioned.

He also informed that Indian Oil is planning to set up around 100 electric vehicle charging facilities across the state by the end of this financial year.

“Five will be set up in the Marathwada region. Wherever required, the charging gun will be increased from 15 kW capacity to 45 kW. We can also set up a new facility if needed.”

Srivastava also discussed fuel sales. “Petrol sales have reached pre-COVID-19 conditions, but diesel sales are still down by 5-6 percent,” he said.
