The e:N Series models will use an architecture developed specifically for electric cars. The company plans to introduce 10 new Electric Vehicle models in the next five years for the Chinese market.

Honda also announced all-new models in China 2030 will be electric. The two production models have already been developed and are scheduled to go on sale in the spring of 2022.

These two EVs include the e: NS1 produced as a joint venture of Dongfeng Honda and the e: NP1 from GAC Honda. Both these SUVs are the production-ready versions of the e: Prototype SUV displayed at the 2020 Beijing motor show and are based on the Honda HR-V.

The company also shared three concepts EVs – e:N COUPE Concept, e:N SUV Concept, and e:N GT Concept. The company aims to bring these concepts into production in the next five years. Compnay didn’t reveal any performance or technical details of the two new production models or the three concepts.
