Honda Cars India has launched the hybrid version of its best-selling mid-size sedan, the City in the country.
The new Honda City Electric hybrid car named “e:HEV” is the first robust hybrid mass-market car in the Indian market.
Based on the fifth-generation Honda City, which is currently on sale in the Indian market, the new Honda City e: HEV is identical to its Thai-spec counterpart.
The booking for this has now started. One can book the car online on the official website of the company or by visiting the nearest dealership.

Honda City e:HEV Electric Hybrid Features & Specs
The new Honda City Hybrid e:HEV comes with high-tech features including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) blind-spot detection, emergency braking, lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and more included.
It is powered by a 97 hp 1.5-liter petrol engine mated to a 108 hp electric motor. The combined power output of this powertrain is 124 hp while torque is 253 Nm.
Also, with a claimed mileage of 26.5 kmpl, the new Honda City Hybrid e: HEV is the most fuel-efficient sedan in India. Its ex-showroom price is expected to be Rs 18 lakh.

Honda has announced that the official price of the new City Hybrid E:HEV will be revealed in early May 2022 and deliveries will start around the same time.
