Gujarat government’s policy announced for electric vehicles
Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today announced the state government’s policy for electric vehicles for the next four years. He said that the policy aims to Adopt electric vehicles in Gujarat.
The CM said the State EV policy is aimed to promote electric vehicles and EV manufacturing in the state and cut carbon emissions by 6 lakh tonnes per year.
Finally, Gujarat entered the race for EV adoption and announced a four-year EV policy for the state.
CM Announced on an average up to Rs. 20,000 Subsidy for Two-wheelers, Rs. 50,000 Subsidy for Three Wheelers and up to Rs. 1.5 lakh subsidy for Four wheeler electric vehicles. He said that the government would subsidize electric vehicles on a per kilowatt basis.
