Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL), the electric mobility division of Greaves Cotton Limited, has entered into a partnership with Shriram Finance.
Shriram Finance, a flagship company of the Shriram Group, is known for its financial expertise across India. Through this collaboration, customers will be offered flexible financing solutions for purchasing Greaves Electric three-wheelers (3Ws), including attractive down payment and EMI options, making these electric vehicles more accessible to a wider audience.
Expanding Last-Mile Mobility Solutions
Shriram Finance’s vast network across India will play a crucial role in promoting electric mobility, particularly in the last-mile mobility sector.
The partnership will help drive the adoption of Greaves Electric Mobility’s 3W range, which includes both passenger and cargo vehicles such as the Eltra City and Eltra Cargo.
This collaboration aligns with Greaves Electric Mobility’s vision of making electric vehicles more accessible to consumers across the nation, reflected in its “Har Gully Electric” campaign.

The partnership was formalized with the presence of key executives from both companies. K Vijaya Kumar, Executive Director and CEO of Greaves Electric Mobility, Chandrasekar R, Joint Managing Director of Shriram Finance, and Gopinath TA, Assistant Vice President of Shriram Finance, all expressed their commitment to advancing sustainable transportation.
