NamX HUV Hydrogen-powered SUV

The NamX HUV is a hydrogen-powered SUV scheduled for production in 2025. The car was first announced in 2022 by the company NamX, developed by Moroccan entrepreneur Faouzi Annajah.

 

Design

With its powerful lines, the NamX HUV carries a determined stance, both in design and operation. Equipped with a design, it goes against the usual conventions of electric cars with its muscular profile and aggressive characteristics. The “NAMX” logo is engraved on the doors in continuous lines and repeated on the grille.

The result of a partnership between NAMX and PININFARINA, the car’s design exhibits a steadfast focus on purity and details. The Pininfarina NamX HUV pays homage to the great American cars of the past and combines a radical design with superb aerodynamics.

Technology

The Manufacture is committed to luxury, comfort and performance. The car’s sophisticated instrument cluster is another reference to Pininfarina, while its innovative technology relates to both Pininfarina’s specific expertise and the use of technology.

Power

This HUV will be offered in two trim levels, an entry-level model that makes 296 hp (224 kW/300 PS) and a more powerful GTH version that makes 542 hp (410 kW/550 PS). The former has a rear-wheel-drive while the latter has a four-wheel-drive.

Top Speed

NamX HUV GTH version is expected to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds and accelerate up to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). While the entry level model is expected to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.5 seconds and accelerate up to a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h).

Range

This is a clean, quiet, and powerful electric vehicle designed to meet the needs of today’s urban dweller who wants to live a carbon-neutral lifestyle. Its sleek, sporty styling blends high technology with a modern vibe, featuring LED daytime running lights and LED fog lights, as well as a rear spoiler. It aims to give a range of 800 km to the vehicle.

Price

This electric car price is expected to be between €65,000 to €95,000. It’s one of its kind and is expected to be launched in 2025 with two versions- a NamX HUV entry-level version and NamX HUV GTH version.
