CATL is a solid Chinese EV battery manufacturing brand followed by BYD, which is the third largest battery manufacturer with control of 12% of the market. These two businesses lead the Chinese Dominance, With Chinese companies having 56% shares in the EV battery manufacturing market.
CATL manufactures Solid State batteries and lithium-ion batteries for great names in the automobile industry like; Peugeot, Hyundai, Honda, BMW, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo. Tesla also receives CATL-manufactured batteries for its Shanghai-based assembly line.
