On the day of 9 April, 40 electric scooters of Jitendra Electric Vehicles (EV) caught fire after being loaded into a transport container in Nashik, reported CNBC-TV18.

The incident happened near the Jitendra EV factory. Sources told CNBC-TV18 that the scooters were being taken to Bengaluru and no one was reported injured.

The company said it is investigating to find out the root cause of the fire. Watch Video here
