Everest Fleet Pvt Ltd signed MoU with Tata Motors to buy 5000 Tata Xpres-T EVs. The first batch of 100 Xpres-T was handover to the Everest Fleet on Wednesday.
Everest Fleet is a shared mobility cab service operational in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, and Chennai. They are responsible for supplying 6000+ cars to taxis across the metro cities listed above. Along with using CNGs, Everest Fleet has now adopted electric vehicles in their business. They are a growing business and with this partnership, they will soon turn sustainable.
Before, we bring out closing remarks, let us glance at some of the EV specifications of Tata’s Xpres-T.
Xpres-T is an electric sedan model that comes with a 72 V 3-Phase AC Induction Motor with 105Nm torque. The battery capacity is 21.5kWh, a normal charging takes 11.5 hours to charge from 0-100% on the other hand, fast charging takes 110 minutes to charge from 0-80% using a 15kW charger. You can use both the AC and DC charger for fueling the car. The maximum speed is 80km/h with a certificated range of 213km. With a turning radius of 5.1m
The exterior and interior features are also compatible with the EV model. The Length (mm)*Width (mm)* Height (mm) of the vehicle are 3993*1677*1537. The boot space is 255 liters, 5-seater capacity, and electrical power-assisted steering.
Earlier, in the month of October Tata’s Xpres-T partnered with Evera for 2,000 EVs which is also an EV-ride-hailing company from Delhi-NCR. The Xpres-T model first hit the road in July 2021.
