TVS has recently launched three new Electric Scooter variants\u2013 iQube<\/a><\/span>, iQube S<\/a><\/span>, and iQube ST<\/span><\/a>. Originally launched in January 2022, the new variants come with improved range and increased battery capacity. Now available for pre booking in about 52 cities, it comes at about Rs. 1.61-1.66 Lakhs. The iQube, iQube S and iQube ST come in three, four, and four colors respectively.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Performance, Range, Battery and Power<\/span><\/h3>\n

With a range of 100 km and top speed of 78 kmph, iQube and iQube S revamp the simplicity of everyday travel. Assuming the everyday average travel to be 20km, the scooter requires just two 4.5-hours-long charges per week. Considering that the electricity is about Rs.5\/unit, it costs just about Rs.3 per day for a 20 km ride. On the other hand, the powerful iQube ST gives a top speed of 100 kmph with a real-world range of 145 km, so one can get both\u2013 the soaring feel of high speeds without the hassle of frequent charging. The iQube ST gives a fast charge from flat to full in only 4 hours.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With a peak power of 4.4 kW provided by a silent, hub-mounted motor, a smooth ride is ensured with all power available to the user and zero loss in transmission. This gives a great acceleration of 0-40kmph in just 4.2 seconds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The models come powered with two IP 67-rated Lithium ion batteries backed by the indigenously developed Battery Management System (BMS) to give an even longer battery life, along with being dust and water resistant. It comes with a battery warranty of 3 Years\/50,000 km.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Safety and Wellbeing:<\/span><\/h3>\n

To ensure a safe and easy ride, additional safety and wellbeing features have been added to the models, like Live Vehicle Tracking that shows the location of the iQube at any moment with help of the in-built SIM in the dashboard, a Crash Alert system to notify pre-selected contacts when the the vehicle is involved in an accident, Geo Fencing that notifies the user if and when the vehicle crosses any of the upto-5 fences set up by the user, and the Anti Theft feature that pings the owner if the vehicle is being dragged while locked.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With Proactive Diagnosis, Service Alerts, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, a smooth ride is guaranteed without the worry of failed or abnormally-behaving parts leading to problems or mishaps.<\/span><\/p>\n

Convenience Features:<\/span><\/h3>\n

With thoughts of keeping the journey an enjoyable one, the iQube comes with a music player that can be controlled via the HMI interface. The rider can connect their phone to the iQube by Bluetooth, which gives access to the multitude of features available on the iQube App, manage the music, keep track of the messages and alerts on a wide range of social media platforms, and also receive SMS notifications and calls while driving.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For convenience and to avoid the risk that comes while checking the mobile phone for road directions, the iQube comes with a Navigation system in its dashboard so the drive remains unrestrained.
