On April 18, A red-colored Pure EV electric scooter model EPluto 7G parked on the side of the road caught fire. Pure EV caught fire in Telangana’s Warangal. This is the fourth Pure EV scooter to catch fire in the last seven months.

In the past few days, electric scooters from OEMs including Okinawa, OLA, Jitendra EV, and Pure EV have recently caught fire, though only Okinawa has recalled some electric scooters for testing. Battery and battery management system issues are believed to be the main reason behind fires in electric vehicles.

We strongly believe that Pure is going to update its further vehicles and will recall its existing vehicles for testing like Okinawa Scooters Okinawa Autotech.
