The all-new Cadillac Lyric Electric Car outlines the future of Cadillac’s all-electric vehicles. This 500km range EV comes with a price tag of $62,990- 64,990 (in India it’s around 48 lakhs to 53 lakhs), generous proportions, and electric styling really make for a Lyriqal bellwether.

Battery technology will include a 12-module 100-kWh battery pack and a single motor powering the rear wheels. The single motor packs a lot of power, with an estimated 340 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque, while the dual-motor all-wheel drive version produces an estimated 500 hp. The AWD model has a 3,500-lb towing capacity.
Cadillac has an estimated 312-mile (over 500 km) range with RWD, and the Lyric EV comes with one-pedal driving and a pedal on the steering wheel that lets the driver adjust the regen braking level.
The Lyriq Chevy Bolt EUV uses the first iteration of GM’s Altium platform to be used in the GMC Hummer EV and future electric vehicles.
Price
The Cadillac Lyriq EV starts at $62,990, including a $1,195 destination fee for the single-motor rear-wheel-drive model. Orders can be placed till May 19, 2022. The dual-motor AWD model costs only $2,000 more, but won’t be available until early 2023.
That’s about $10,000 less than the Audi e-Tron and Jaguar I-Pace, and the Lyric comes with more range than the comparable luxury base model.
